Today I went to the so called "Landesarchiv" in Berlin/Germany to do some research on German Jews perished in Minsk. I searched for information about ADELE GAPPE-Hoffnung and found out, that her husband, MAX GAPPE, emigrated to Isreal and lived there until at least 1959, as it is stated in a letter written by him to a public office here in Berlin. (Stadsarchif Amsterdam Card), died in San Francisco on 15.05.1973. 2. Husband Werner Herrmann.
