Born in Berlin, Germany, July 25, 1905, she was a refugee from Nazi Germany and a longtime resident of NYC and Miami Beach, FL. She is survived by her devoted children Dr. Robert P. Newhouse and his wife Mary of NYC, and Block Island, RI, and Marian Nachman of Greenwich, CT. Loving grandmother of Alisa Newhouse Smith of Los Angeles, Sarah Newhouse of Watertown, MA, Andrea Newhouse of NYC, Alex Nachman of Boston, MA, and Juliet Nachman of Oregon, and great-grandmother of Olivia Taylor Smith and Jules Haskell Smith of Los Angeles. Funeral services will be private.
