Eliazer is een zoon van Isaac Asscher en Marianne Sarlouis. Hij trouwde 4 januari 1916 met Stéphanie Fischer (20 jaar, geboren in Antwerpen), dochter van Mozes Fischer en Rosalie Przemysler.
