Traces of the Schoenfeldt Family

Hans Philipp Schoenfeldt was married with Hanna Goldmann, born 8 Sept. 1903. They have one son, called Rene Wolfgang., born 8 Febr. 1932 in Berlin.
The family emigrated to the Netherlands (date unknown) and Hans Philipp Schoenfeldt had a draper's shop in Dordrecht. In 1941 the shop was confiscated by the SS and the family Schoenfeldt had to move to a furnished room in Hilversum.
Hans Schoenfeldt was deported from Westerbork to Terezin on 6 Sept. 1944, then on 29. Sept. 1944 to Auschwitz, where he perished.
His wife Hanna and his son Rene survived in Westerbork and Terezin.
They emigrated on 21. Oct. 1948 to the USA. Hanna Schoenfeldt had married Ulrich M. Gross on 16. July 1947, who had lived with his wife Frieda and his children Stefan Peter and Eva Susanne in Hilversum, too. Frieda Gross and her children had been murdered in Auschwitz on 10 Sept. 1943.
Hanna Gross, formerly Schoenfeldt, died on 11. Apr. 2004 in Los Angeles. Her son, who assumed the name "Ronald" W. Schonfeld, still lives in Los Angeles.
