Some minutes ago I found something interesting as well: A Page of Testimony for ARNOLD SANDHAUS, probably the first husband of Johanna Herrmann, widowed Sandhaus, nee Hoffnung. I know that his name was ARNOLD but at the moment I'm not a 100% sure if it's him to whom the Page of Testimony is dedicated. I have to translate the Hebrew writings on it.. But I know that his brother RELA CHARKOVSKI has filled in the form, so that could be a possible hint. I do have a contact in Yad Vashem so I'm planning to ask her if she can help me to get some further information about the Hoffnung/Sandhaus/Gappe/Herrmann-family! : )
In addition I ordered some documents about Arnold Sandhaus at the Landesarchiv here in Berlin. I will check them next week!
