Grandchild

Kaatje (Kitty), the daughter of Mozes Scheffer and Rebecca Orgelis (now 94), had a little son Eddy Antoon, who died of malnutrition at the age of two, just before liberation, in the Children's Hospital Amsterdam. I am Ingrid, his sister, and the eldest child of Kitty, making additional comments to ensure my family remains vivid in our memory and is visible to others as to their demise, and how much they are missed. Never having had my opa and oma in our lives had a great impact on our lives but we are strong and are alive! This is due to the courage of our mother now known as Katie, living in Australia.
