Eduard Philip Prins was married to a non-Jewish woman. The couple presumably broke up in 1941 without a divorce. Eduard then moved to Amsterdam and went into hiding there. During an escape attempt to England he was betrayed. Through Vught concentration camp from 29 October 1943 and Westerbork from 20 November he was deported to Auschwitz on 3 March 1944.
