Mister Kuiper was non-Jewish. He was arrested together with his wife Pauline Virginie Slijper for hiding his parents-in-law. After a stay in Vught Pauline Slijper was taken to Westerbork. There she gave birth to her second child. After several months of reprieve to take care of her child she was put on transport. Her husband managed to take his child from Westerbork. Both children of this family survived the war in hiding.
