Salomon Sarphatie and Roosje Sealtiël married in 1937. Salomon was an upholsterer. He worked for approximately eight years for the firm Schaap in the Korte Leidschedwarsstraat. Roosje Sealtiel was before her marriage a seamstress and worked for several weeks for the 'Engelsche Rubber Co.' during her marriage.
