Mozes Wolf and his family

Of Philip Wolf, the following documents remain:
- A vaccination certificate agains smallpox dated 25-10-1916;
- An exam results list of the Doetinchem Gymnasium;
- A certificate of the Doetinchem Gymnasium;
- The registration certificate in Oss town dated 14 January 1937;
- The certificate of analist of the 'Dutch Chemical Association' dated 3 September 1938;
- Insurance papers for a pension fund and a fire insurance;
- The registration certificate as Jew;
- A so-called grey card of the Jewish Council;
- A draft-dismissal letter from the N.V. Organon;
- An Ausweis due to his activities as laboratory technician for the NV Organon dated 24 October 1941;
- The dismissal letter from N.V. Organon of 24 November 1941;

In the first post-war edition of 'Het Hormoon', the company newsletter of the Organon company, the colleagues who did not survive the war were remembered. Philip Wolf was married to Estella Hes. Both of them worked at Organon, Philip Wolf as an analyst and Estella Hes as a correspondent. In 1941, they were dismissed as Jews by the German manager of Organon.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 13146/9477).
