Reintje Wertheim was a daughter of Levie Wertheim and Henriëtte Bloemhof. She married Meijer Frank. Two sons were born into this marriage, Hartog and Louis.
In 1933 Reintje married for a second time. This marriage, with Marcus Carels, ended in divorce. She then married Mozes Ephraim.
Hartog and Louis Frank, the sons from her first marriage, lived at the same address as their mother and stepfather.
