Salomon Meyer studied medicine in Amsterdam, where he sat for his medical finals on 27 November 1929. He lived and practised medicine at 109 Sarphatistraat in Amsterdam. He was married to Lina Reisel, a daughter of Pinchas Wolf Reisel and Sonie Wigdorowitz.
Salomon Meyer was caught during the raid on 26 May 1943 and deported to Bergen-Belsen via Westerbork. He was liberated by the Russians near Tröbitz while en route from Bergen-Belsen to Theresiënstadt. He died of dysentery.
