The name of Isaac de Vries appears on a handwritten list of the individuals who held offices within the Dutch-Jewish Community in Haarlem during the early years of the war. Photos remain of all the staff members. Isaac de Vries was vice-chair of the Synagogue District of North-Holland and was as such also involved in the Dutch-Jewish Community in Haarlem.
Isaac de Vries was married. The couple lived at the time of the creation of the handwritten list 25 Schalk Burgerstraat, second floor, in Amsterdam.
