Jacob Gokkes, son of Hertog Gokkes and Leentje Kraal, married Sara Swart, the eldest of the seven children of Salomon Swart and Grietje Deutz, in Amsterdam on 30 April 1924. He and his wife had two children: Hartog and Sally. Jacob Gokkes was a hairdresser.
Copies remain of the marriage certificate of Jacob Gokkes and Sara Swart and the birth certificates of Hartog Gokkes and Sally Gokkes.
