Philip Weijel was married to Clara Kellerman. The couple had one child. The family lived in the Kuiperstraat 39 in Zutphen.
Philip was seriously ill in the hospital in Zutphen. On 7 April 1943, he was rounded up from there and Clara was collected from home. They were taken to Westerbork, where Philip died the very next day. Clara was transported to Sobibor. A few items of jewellery were stolen from the couple Weijel-Kellerman.
