Samuel Koetser was a son of David Koetser and Rachel Pop. He got married to Hendrina Marianne Snuijf in the New Synagogue in AMsterdam on 11 June 1918. She was a daughter of Salomon Isaac Snuijf and Henriette Rubens. The couple had two children: Alice Rebecca and one child that survived the war.
