The mayor of Bodegraven requested that Jacob Cohen (a fountain pen repairman by trade), his wife Esther Cohen-Smilde and their son Benjamin Jacob be located. They lived at 119 Kerkstraat in Bodegraven. They were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
