The mayor of Almelo requested that Maurits ten Brink, a trinkets wholesaler, his wife Roosje ten Brink-Zilverberg and their daughter Henriëtte Helena be located, detained and brought to trial. They resided in Almelo and were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
