Barend van der Bokke, carriage maker by trade, was a witness at the wedding of his niece Rebecca de Vries to David Jacobs on 6 August 1942 in Westerbork transit camp. The bride Rebecca de Vries was a daughter of his sister Branca van der Bokke.
