Hartog Koperberg was the son of Levie Koperberg and Rebecca Sanders. He was a merchant. Hartog Koperberg was married to Betje Hilversum. On 16 March 1943 Hartog Koperberg died at Vught concentration camp.

Hartog Koperberg and Betje Hilversum married in 1911 in Weesp. They had five children. A daughter Rebecca died at a young age in 1918. Three other children were Levie, Johanna and Salomon.
