Arthur Italie was the son of Enoch Italie and Heintje 't Hart. He married Mathilda Sanders in Rotterdam in 1919. She was the daughter of Abraham Sanders and Sara Katz. The couple had two children: Abraham Henri and one child that survived the war.
Arthur Italie suffered from tuberculosis. He died in August 1940.
