Salomon Witsenhuijsen and his family

Salomon Witsenhuijzen and his wife Duifje Platvoet lived at Christiaan de Wetstraat 8 2nd stock in Amsterdam. They went into hiding with the woolcomber Jacob Stomphorst at 74 Achterkerkstraat in Veenendaal. On 4 January 1944, the SD raided the place and all those hiding out were arrested together with the man offering shelter.

The two children of Salomon Witsenhuijsen and Duifje Platvoet survived the war by going into hiding.
