Antje Samuel was the daughter of Mozes Samuel and Leentje Helen Noach. Antje married in 1904 to Maurits van Kreveld, the son of Salomon van Kreveld and Sientje van Meer. Antje and Maurits had three children. Their son Samuel didn't survive the war. Maurits died in 1943 in Deventer.
The family name is also spelled as "Crefeld".
