Jacob van Dam was married to Sippora van Buuren. They had two sons, both born in Aduard. Levie born on June 19, 1910, and Philip born on April 2, 1914. Levie died in Groningen on November 20, 1930, and Philip died in Aduard on November 27, 1914.
