Leon Wallig studied medicine in Amsterdam where he sat for his medical finals on 2 July 1898. He lived and practised medicine as a family doctor at the Weesperzijde 38 in Amsterdam and also at 4 Beukenweg.
Leon Wallig was married to Lea Wallig. From 1938, he lived as a physician on leave at 97 Noorder Amstellaan, second floor, in Amsterdam.
