Elias Nathan Tas studied medicine in Amsterdam, where he sat for his medical finals on 25 March 1899.
He lived and practised medicine as family doctor at 61 Noorder Amstellaan in Amsterdam. About the origin of cancer, he published for example in 1938 the study 'Cancer. Cause and prevention'.
Elias Nathan Tas was married to Anna Felleman.
