Nathan van Dien was the son of Louis Nathan van Dien and Sara Walg. He was married to Roosje Kroon. They had a daughter Sara and a son Isaäc. The family lived at 98 Van Manderloostraat in Alphen aan den Rijn. Nathan van Dien and his father owned a shop at this address.
In September 1942 the Van Dien family had to leave their home. They moved to 21 Hooftstraat, from where they were collected on 30 September and deported via Westerbork.
