Jakob Pino and his family

Jakob Pino went into hiding in Hazerswoude with his wife and daughter. In October 1942, they were picked up and deported with the connivance of the then mayor.
In 2002 a memorial stone was moved from the garden to Sneek’s town hall.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 9322 / 20264).
