Daniel de Levie was respectively a merchant, cattle dealer and a butcher.
Daniel de Levie was married to Ester van Zand. She died in 1932.
Together they had seven children:
Nochum Niele, Maria (she died in 1940), Saartje, Benjamin, Hartog (he only lived for a couple of weeks), Levie, Sophia van Zand-de Levie and a child that has survived the war.
