This family belonged to a group of protestant Jewish refugees who received shelter in an anabaptist house in Schoorl and presumably afterwards in Elspeet and Sluis. From Sluis they ended up in Westerbork. The family is mentioned in the correspondance in IISG (International Institute of Social History), Archive Jacob ter Meulen, inv. nr. 9, dossier 12.
