Alexander Ladendorff was married to Margaretha Wolffheim. The couple registered in the town of Alphen aan den Rijn at 7 Hoorn on 23 October 1940. On 16 September 1941 they moved to the house at 5 Dr. Lovinklaan. On 4 May 1942 this house was confiscated by the Leiden Ortskommandantur for use as an officer's residence. They had to leave their furniture behind. The couple moved to 10 Emmalaan, from where they were picked up and taken to Westerbork during the major raid on 30 September 1942.

A child of Alexander and Margaretha Ladendorff survived the war with his/her family. A son Hellmuth died during the war.
