Mozes Ferro and Roosje de Groot were not married. They had two children who did not live at home anymore during the war. Mozes Ferro was a Sephardi Jew, Roosje de Groot an Ashkenazi. During the war they were forced to move to Amsterdam. To escape from deportation they ended their own lives under pressure of the circumstances. Their children survived the war by going into hiding.
