Samson Kool was the widower of Sientje Slier. The couple had five children, of which one survived the war. Samson Kool passed away in Amsterdam. He is buried at the Jewish cemetery in Muiderberg.
Betje and Annetje were sisters. They lived together with their cousin, Elisabeth Slier (also known as Sientje).
