Jules Frank was married to Flora van Beek. He was a butcher. He and his wife lived at Joannes van Dieststraat in Amersfoort. Jules Frank chaired the Jewish funeral association and was a prominent member of the local Oranjevereniging [royalist association]. He and his wife were deported to Sobibor from Vught via Westerbork. From 16 August 1942 until 14 April 1943 Jules Frank kept a diary. Sections have been published in the book 'Zullen we nog terugkeren...' by K. Ribbens.
