Carolina Cohen-Ten Brink was married to Samson Cohen. The couple had seven children. In 1879 their son George was born. He died at the age of 57. The other children were Rosina Cohen, Lisette Cohen, Daniel Cohen, Rika Cohen, Estelle, Bertha Cohen.
Carolina Cohen-ten Brink became a widow before the war. During the war she was in a wheel-chair. Carolina Cohen-ten Brink was arrested together with her great-granddaughter Theodora Paula Heertje in Enschede.

Carolina Cohen-ten Brink died on 6 April 1943 in Westerbork transit camp and she was cremated on 9 April 1943. The urn with her ashes was placed on the Jewish cemetry in Diemen on field U, row 4, grave nr. 13.
