The Nijmegen police commissioner requested that Abraham Mendes da Costa, a sales representative residing at 16 Hugo de Grootstraat in Nijmegen, be located, arrested and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. The request further stipulated that any money found on him was to be confiscated.
