About Henriette Izaks-Glaser

Henriëtte Glaser moved from Nijmegen to Woerden on 21 June 1924. She was married to Eliazar Izaks. They had four children: Gerson, Salomon Albert, Saartje Henriëtte and David Eduard. Henriëtte Izaks-Glaser lived with her husband and children at the same address as her parents-in-law at 83 Voorstraat in Woerden.
When Jews were forced to surrender their bicycles in 1941, Henriëtte Glaser surrendered a Mercury ladies' bicycle. Henriëtte reached Vught concentration camp with her husband and children on 22 April 1943. On 7 June 1943 she was deported to Westerbork with her daughter Saartje Henriëtte and her son David Eduard, from where they were sent to Sobibor the next day on 8 June 1943. They were killed at Sobibor on 11 June 1943.
