About Johanna Leverpoll-Meijer

The Arnhem police commissioner requested that Johanna Leverpoll-Meijer, residing in Arnhem, be located, detained and brought to trial. She was suspected of having changed her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

The funeral records at the Jewish cemetery in Arnhem reveal that a memorial stone is placed for Johanna Meijer.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 91) on this person is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 7340/17150).
