Emma Bloch was a daughter of Jacob Bloch and Vogel Vogelstein. She was married and had two children. Her husband survived the war.

Emma Bloch died as a result of a minor operation on her hand. She was buried on 11 January at the Cemetery of the Israelitic Congregation at Arnhemseweg in Apeldoorn, grave nr. 688.
