Rachel was a daughter of Nathan Luza and Sophia Davidson who both have passed away before the war and hve been buried at the Jewish Cemetery of Muiderberg. Rachel had four other sisters: Reintje, Marianne, Anna, Jetje and a brother Barend who suvived the Holocaust. Rachel married in Amsterdam on 23 April 1925 to Samuel Blog.
