Rebecca Ossendrijver was a daughter of Benedictus Ossendrijver and Cornelia Lek. She married 31 July 1901 in Amsterdam to Isaac Lootsteen, a son of Mozes Lootsteen and Katje Jas. The couple had seven children together, of whom one daughter has survived the war. The other six children, Mozes, Kaatje, Clara, Benedictus, Hartog and Salomon have been killed all during the Holocaust.
However, Isaac Lootsteen passed away on 15 September 1930 and Rebecca remarried 23 August 1939 Joseph Cohen, widower of Betje Salomon and a son of Levie Cohen and Mietje Goldsmith.
Rebecca Ossenddrijver had another brother Abraham, who was married to Mietje Lootsteen, a sister of her late first husband Isaac Lootsteen.
