Rachel de Jongh was a daughter of Jacob Joseph de Jongh and Saartje Jonas Stork. She married Jonas de Raaij on 11 Juni 1889 in Amsterdam, son of Mozes de Raaij and Leentje Jonas Kloot. Jonas de Raaij however passed away in 1939.
The couple had two children together, of whom one daughter already died as a baby of 4 months old. Their other daughter, Celina die not survive the Holocaust.
