Asser Maurits van der Horst, a travelling salesman, was the widower of Judith van Friesland. He served as a witness at the wedding of his daughter Marianna Rebecca van der Horst to Abraham de Goede. The wedding was performed at Westerbork transit camp on 30 Agust 1943. Asser Maurits van der Horst signed the marriage certificate.
