Estella Rosetta Minco (known as Stella) was the daughter of Maurits Minco and Sophia Nathans. The family lived at 156 Grotestraat in Almelo, where they had a textile business and tailor shop.
Estella Rosetta Minco went into hiding with her father Maurits Minco, her mother Sophia Minco-Nathans and her brothers Simon Nathan, Nico and Salomon Elias at the Evers farm in Hezingen. On 6 October 1944 a group of Nazis and some Dutch Nazi sympathizers raided the Evers farm. Estella Minco was arrested with her parents and her brothers Simon Nathan, Nico and Salomon Elias and taken to the constabulary barracks on the Almelosestraat on Ootmarsum. The next morning, on 7 October 1944, her father and three brothers were taken from the barracks by a group of Nazis from the Sicherheitsdienst and shot in the head just outside Ootmarsum. What happened with Estella Rosetta and her mother remains unknown. They were killed somewhere in Western Europe.
