Willem Pront, a son of Hartog Pront and Sara Werkheim, was born in a family with twelve children; his parents aswell one sister and one unmarried brother have passed away before the war. However not his brothers Mozes, Izak and Simon nor his sisters Mietje, Jeannette, Grietje, Elisabeth, Naatje and Rosalina. They all have been killed during the Holocaust.
Willem married Judith Kleerekoper in Amsterdam on 30 May 1934, a daughter of Gerrit Kleerekoper and Eva Betel.
