Henriette Rubens was a daughter of Joseph Rubens and Polly Gomperts. She got married to Salomon Isaac Snuijf on 31 mei 1882 in the Plancius building in Amsterdam. Her husband worked as a timber merchant and had a carpenters workplace. The couple had four children: Hartog Salomon, Hendrina Marianne, Isaac Elias Salomon and one child that survived the war. Salomon Isaac Snuijf died in 1901.
