Jantje de Jong was a daughter of Heiman Israels de Jong and Sara Siemens de Jong. She married Jakob Davidson on 1 May 1885 in Lemsterland, a son of David Davidson and Rachel Slager.
The couple had seven children, of whom their daughter Rachel probably deceased before the war and their son Izaak has survived the war. Their other children, Simon, Sara, David Jacob, Iseroos and Mendes all have been killed during the Holocaust.
