Hyman Herman van der Stam was a butcher. He lived at 45 Choorstraat in Delft. He had a daughter called Rozetta, a son called Simon and another child that survived the war. In Westerbork and in Auschwitz, Hyman Herman van der Stam was robbed of a few items of jewellery.
The archive of the Stichting Sieraden-Comité contains, among other things, a list of stolen jewellery and a statement of the right to inheritance from 1955. The data in those documents differ from other sources. His name would have been Herman Heiman van der Stam and the date of his death is given as 16 October 1943.
