Elias Snoek was a son of Ephraim Snoek and Vrouwtje Wurms. He married 29 Augustus 1894 in Amsterdam to Rachel de Hond, with whom he had six children, but of whom two children have died in childhood, one daugher has died before the war but Ephraim, Samson and Levie have been killed during the Holocaust.
Rachel de Hond however passed away on 9 Juni 1931 and has been interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
Elias Snoek remarried 23 Ausgust 1933 in Amsterdam to Beletje de Leeuw, a daughter of Levie Isaak de Leeuw and Heintje Abrahams.
