Joseph Jacob Rozendaal was a representative. He lived in Rotterdam. He carried out illegal work for the CPN. He was a member of the Dutch People's Militia. He was rounded up in Rotterdam, locked up in the police presinct at the Haagsche Veer and transferred to Amersfoort. Joseph Jacon Rozendaal was was executed on the Leusderheide at the age of 39 on 29 December 1942.

Joseph Jacob Rozendaal was brought to Amsterdam after he was held at the Haagsche Veer police presinct. From Amsterdam he was sent to the Oranjehotel prison in Scheveningen. From Scheveningen to camp Amersfoort where he arrived on 17 July 1942. Coincidence or not, but at that same 17 July 1942, his mother Stijntje Rozendaal Lusse was arrested in Bolnes. Joseph Jacob Rozendaal was reburried in a resting place for members of the resistance in Crooswijk, Rotterdam.
